I have been selling my new jewelry at my local Farmers Market most Saturdays. I have sold a few tie holders but not as many as I would like to. I ask everyone that walks by if they wear a tie. The responses vary from I'm to old to are you kidding. I watch what people are wearing, I still see some men with ties (on TV), but they rarely use any kind of holder. Why not? MY BUTTON JEWELRY tie holders are far superior and simpler than anything on the market today. They won't ruin an expensive tie, they aren't clunky. They easily rest on a shirt button and the tie slips through the slot. I carefully inspect each piece of tie holder jewelry to make sure there are no places for a tie to get snagged. My product is even reasonably priced from $15 to $25 each (24K Gold plated). If you have a response to my question I would really like to hear from you.

I recently acquired a plating machine. Now I can plate My Button Jewelry with heavy 24K Gold plating. I have plated a few of the Men's Tie holders, they look fantastic. We can plate any tie holder design you wish.

I have decided to personally take My Button Jewelry to the people. You can find me selling my new jewelry every Saturday morning 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Tecumseh Farmers Market. The Farmers market is located in beautiful downtown Tecumseh, Michigan and it runs until the end of October. I have done (1) show so far and the response has been very favorable. If your in the area come look me up.

Revamped website

I have recently revamped my website to make it easier to navigate through.
It still needs some work, but the main body is up and running.
As for My Button Jewelry we are still struggling to get it off the ground. We still have faith that this endeavor is worth pursuing. We can only move up from here.

Progress update 2-15-06

I spent the weekend reconstructing my website (had a little snafu!). We're back up and running well again. I continue to compile new addresses and send out 30 letters and about 60 emails a week to beading store across America. I did recieve an email back from an organization offering to sell me Ad space for a lot of investment. If I had that kind of money to invest in every newsletter that is published, I wouldn't be taking this grassroots approach.

Getting the word out

The end of January 2006. I started compiling bead store addresses all across the northeastern US. On February 3rd I started my form of a grassroots campiagn. I emailed as many stores as I could. I also mailed out 30 letters to stores I couldn't email. I am sending out 30 letters a week to different bead stores until I have contacted all the addresses I have acquired. Throughout the next 12 weeks I will be contacting as many appropriate stores as possible across the entire country. Trying to get the word out about MY BUTTON JEWELRY.

I have created a revolutionary jewelry item called "My Button Jewelry" TM (Patent Pending). This new jewelry for ladies easily attaches to any Blouse /Shirt button as decoration. This has unlimited design potential. The new jewelry for men s an advancement in tie holder design. The tie holder easily slides onto a shirt button and the tie slides through the large slot. I need help and suggestions on what I should do to bring my new product to market. Also how to cheaply drive traffic to my ebay store.

I have contacted two corperations regarding my tie holder, both responses were "nice product but not at this time".

I have the ladies jewelry in one beading store, and I am working on getting it into more stores.
